Choosing Majestic for your Destination Wedding

Well, we have an incredible destination wedding past May 2023 at Majestic Costa Mujeres. The first day was a sangeet where we had special Indian food stations, mehndi and of course family & friends performances. The second day we hosted the ceremony at Sky Gazebo followed by Cocktail & Reception at Zky. We had the opportunity to stay at resort during those days (instead of paying an expensive Vendor Fee of $1,000 USD) so here my experience:

First of all, check in.

They received us with champagne and a small bar where you could have any drink or appetizers and also introduced us to a personal butler who we loved!! She gave us a tour through the property and was really attentive to any of our questions, doubs or needs during those days.

Rooms

I love how big they are but most of all it’s full of new technology which for me (as a millennial lol) I really enjoy. Absolutely! We have a jacuzzi inside and outside of the room which it’s pretty great.
They included some amenities; one of those is “Choose the alcohol bottle you want” which is a good touch. (we don’t drink it but for the ones who will stay more time it’s a great option).

Food.

As our weddings or events commonly take a lot of time we try a little bit more the Room Service but i definitely not regret it. They have a lot of options (healthy as well) and the service was pretty efficient + the staff was all the time over the top.
The Main Buffet has plenty of options and it’s really big so you don’t look too crowded. One suggestion? Do not miss the Italian and Japanese restaurants, they are exquisite!

Now one of the most important aspects: Wedding

They have different areas to choose from and I must say I love all of them, they are just stunning!
White gazebo is a must (pls don’t use a long veil cause stairs make it difficult) and consider having the ceremony after 3:00 or 4:00 p.m because it won’t be too hot.
And most important thing, if you are planning to have external vendors it’s great but their fees are pretty high. The best deal always will be to book rooms for your vendors. (For external DJ’S with equipment might not apply)

But after all, believe me you won’t regret it. It’s a luxurious and nice hotel!
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or have doubts.

With love , Patty.
